Tulsi Gabbard, a U.S. representative from Hawaii and 2020 presidential hopeful, filed a defamation lawsuit against Hillary Clinton.

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii is suing Hillary Clinton after the former secretary of state and 2016 presidential hopeful made remarks about her on a podcast, characterizing the Democratic presidential candidate as a "Russian asset." In the lawsuit, Gabbard's lawyers allege that Clinton's comments “smeared” Gabbard’s “political and personal reputation.”
