After remaining silent for the majority of the impeachment trial, senators now have their chance to voice their opinions. Individual senators will get up to 10 minutes on Tuesday to explain their personal impeachment vote.

The impeachment trial will then resume on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. ET., when the Senate is expected to vote on whether President Trump should be convicted or acquitted.

Last week, the Senate voted 51-49 against issuing subpoenas for additional witnesses, a process that would have extended the trial.
