The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that a top Trump lawyer paid $130,000 to porn star for her silence on an alleged sexual encounter.

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that one of President Donald Trump’s lawyers paid $130,000 in hush money to a former adult-film star a month before the 2016 election. The agreement, which several people familiar with the matter confirmed to the newspaper, included a confidentiality clause that she not discuss the settlement or an alleged sexual encounter with Trump in 2006.

The Journal said the deal with Stephanie Clifford was negotiated by Michael Cohen, a top attorney for the Trump organization. Clifford performed under the stage name of Stormy Daniels.
