Join us for ALL&nbsp;LEVELS&nbsp;FENCING&nbsp;designed for children ages 7+! This class combines the fundamentals of fencing with fun, interactive games to create an engaging and memorable experience for young participants. Whether your child is new to fencing or simply loves active play, this class is the perfect way to introduce them to the art of fencing in a safe, social, and supportive environment. All students will be provided their own cleaned fencing garb to be used weekly. Maximum 8 students per class.

Art Appreciation for ages 4-6 this fall!It’s time for your little one to make art! This class is the perfect introduction for the young artist. Children explore their own creativity in a fun and supportive environment. While learning about famous artists throughout history, students are taught art basics such as understanding shapes and color. In this encouraging atmosphere, students apply their knowledge to their one-of-a-kind creations. The class uses various mediums to create their works, including pastels, paint and collage. It’s the perfect class to get your young artist’s creativity flowing. Maximum 12 students per class.Saturdays 10:00 –11:00 AM 10 sessions. Celebrate the end of summer with an unforgettable outdoor concert on our Great Lawn at our Summer Breeze Blowout with&nbsp;The Everly Set. Bringing the timeless sound of the legendary Everly Brothers to life, <a href="https://theeverlyset.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">The Everly Set</a> captivates audiences with soaring harmonies, exceptional musicianship, and irresistible charm. Featuring acclaimed performers Sean Altman and Jack Skuller,
 the group performs beloved classics that helped define the sound of 
rock and roll, including “Bye Bye Love,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” and 
“All I Have to Do Is Dream.” Their dynamic stage presence and authentic 
harmonies create a nostalgic, feel-good experience that will have 
audiences singing along, dancing, and celebrating summer’s final days.
The concert is rain or shine and will be held either outside on our 
Great Lawn or inside in our Black Box Theater (depending upon the 
weather).

The Jay Heritage Center in Rye, New York will celebrate America at 250 with a toast to Jay Medal honorees Pulitzer Prize-winning author Annette Gordon-Reed, the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University and award-winning Lincoln historian Harold Holzer.
The Jay Medal for Service was created in 2012 to recognize individuals who demonstrate a selfless spirit of commitment to and engagement with their community mirroring the multifaceted contributions of John Jay and his descendants. These honorees have demonstrated through their life's work that our shared narratives as a country, complicated as they are, can be better illuminated through the highest caliber of ongoing scholarship and advocacy. Honorees are selected for their excellence in the fields of American history, environmental stewardship, social justice or civic engagement.
Joining the celebration will be Chief Judge of the State of New York and the New York Court of Appeals, Honorable Rowan D. Wilson and historian and philanthropist Elihu Rose who will present the awards at JHC's annual Soirée. Special guests will include David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman, and Beverly Gage.

The Jay Medal Soirée will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Jay Estate from 5:30-9:30pm. Cocktails, dinner, award ceremony and dancing. Cocktail Attire.
