The Art & Music Center in Rio Vista is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. Established in 2013 and formerly known as Fine Arts School In The Pines, located in Placerville, CA, has revised its name to incorporate the new Music Program in addition to the Arts.

The Center was founded to foster and enrich the artistic and musical development in people of all ages, children, teens, adults and seniors. The Center is inspired by the natural beauty of its surroundings, from the winding Delta Waterways, to the friendly and quaint towns that encompass it. The Center's purpose, and with great passion and ambition, is to manifest the creative aspirations and abilities within ourselves and our community, both young and old. Our professional instructors fully embrace the value by reinforcing the social, emotional, and intellectual development of its students...

With assistance from grants, donations, and increasing attendance, our goal is to eventually provide FREE lessons for all socioeconomically disadvantaged children (and adults). In addition, these funds provide supplies for both music & art, instrument rentals, events, recitals, collaborative workshops, and help to produce new programs and increase our offerings.
