AF, Neighbor

I am a 25 year old graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Communication.  I've been a rabid sports fan since elementary school when I fell in love with the Terps basketball team.  A huge fan since the "old days" with Joe Smith and Keith Booth. 

I was also fortunate enough to grow up with Oriole Park at Camden Yards.  I always will be an Orioles fan despite their constant struggles.  Of course, I'm a Ravens fan as well but that almost goes without asking around Baltimore these days.  Can't help but feel that we're Super Bowl bound, especially if we can nab a solid defensive free agent.

As you can probably guess by the first part of this bio, I'm a huge sports fanatic and watch sports constantly.  Just ask any of my friends there's always sports on in the house either a live sporting event or a show like Sportscenter, ESPNnews, NFL channel, etc.  I plan on starting with an opinion-based column to see where it goes.  I envision adding a "wrap-up" as well as potentially updates/current events topics as well at some point.

Interesting Fact: I received Ray Lewis's autograph in the Reisterstown Denny's when I was 12, probably just after his rookie year, not nearly the star he is now, just sitting there eating breakfast with his dad and brother, presumably Keon Lattimore, who later would star for Mt. St. Joe and Maryland as a running back.  Wild experience to recall.
