AAII-Silicon Valley is a grassroots organization led by volunteer AAII members. AAII-SV allows AAII to extend its mission "person to person" to individual investors in their own communities by offering meetings that provide unbiased investment education in a social context.

Local Chapters hold meetings either in the evening on a weeknight or on a Saturday morning lasting one to two hours. You can expect to meet other AAII members—this alone can be an educational experience as you share your enthusiasm for investing and discuss the speaker's presentation sharing your thoughts and ideas.

Each Chapter Meeting offers an investment education presentation by a speaker or panel on an investment-related topic. Many well-known investment experts have provided presentations at Local Chapter Meetings—this is an opportunity that you, as an investor, would not otherwise be able to participate in.

At a chapter meeting you can learn how to:

*Pick Winning Stocks

*Become a Computerized Investor

*Protect Your Portfolio

*Profit From Small & Mid-Cap Stocks

*Select Mutual Funds

And Much, Much More!!

A Chapter Meeting allows time for members to ask questions of the speaker—further enhancing the educational experience of a Chapter Meeting by providing you an opportunity to get the answers you need.

AAII Silicon Valley is affiliated with the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII), a nonprofit corporation founded in 1978 for the purpose of assisting individuals in becoming effective managers of their own assets through programs of education, information and research.
