The New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV), Merrimack Valley, will host the first annual Merrimack Valley Stand Down, a one-day event that enables Veterans to receive immediate comprehensive and coordinated services in one central location.&nbsp;The Stand Down will be held at NECHV Merrimack Valley on Friday, August 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This remarkable community event will bring together service providers, employers and community organizations to provide essential supportive services to Veterans in the Merrimack Valley area (must bring proof of military service), including housing assistance, medical care, wellness programs, legal support, employment assistance, and prevention services.

The New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) will host the 2026 Greater Boston Stand Down, a one-day event that enables Veterans to receive immediate comprehensive and coordinated services in one central location.&nbsp;The Stand Down will be held on Boston City Hall Plaza on Friday, September 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This remarkable community event will bring together more than 70 service providers, employers and community organizations to provide essential supportive services to Veterans in the Greater Boston area (must bring proof of military service), including housing assistance, medical care, wellness programs, legal support, employment assistance, and prevention services.
A free lunch and refreshments will be available to eligible participating Veterans.
