Join us for a Sanctuary Soulful Saturday with our deeply grounding Qigong session! Rooted in ancient Chinese healing traditions, Qigong is a mindful self-care practice that weaves together slow, flowing movements, relaxed breathing, meditation, and soothing self-massage to awaken and balance the body’s natural energy.
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the foundations of a simple, sustainable Qigong practice designed to nourish both body and spirit. Together, we’ll explore gentle movement, self-acupressure, lymphatic massage to support immune health, guided meditation, and sound healing for deep vibrational relaxation and restoration.
Practices are accessible to all adult ages with options to participate standing or seated in a chair. You’ll leave with empowering tools you can use anytime to reduce stress, lift your mood, improve balance, support restful sleep, and cultivate a deeper sense of well-being.
Come as you are, bring a smile, and allow yourself to be held in a welcoming community of like-minded individuals surrounded by the peaceful energy of the sanctuary.

Step away from screens and into the great outdoors for an old-fashioned Family Camp! Experience a joyful afternoon of classic camp fun, hands-on discovery, and nature exploration designed for all ages.
During our 5 Senses Adventure, families will take a guided walk through the sanctuary using sight, sound, touch, smell, and even a little imagination to discover the hidden wonders of local plants and wildlife. Whether you’re three or ninety-three, there’s always something new to notice in nature.
At our collaborative craft station, Build It Forward, families will work side-by-side to create real wildlife habitat projects like bluebird boxes and bee hotels – important creations that can help support animals right in your own backyard.
Then head over to The Backyard Lab, where curiosity takes center stage through hands-on science experiments exploring the chemistry and physics hidden within everyday materials. Designed to spark wonder and playful learning, these activities encourage families to ask questions and test ideas together.

This special sanctuary Goat Yoga series invites you to stretch, breathe, and laugh your way through the season while playful goat companions from Bradley Mountain Farm remind us not to take life too seriously.
Expect gentle movement, mindful breathing, and plenty of smiles as you reconnect with your body, nature, and community – all in a warm, welcoming space.

As summer begins to turn toward fall, one of nature’s greatest journeys quietly begins. Monarch butterflies prepare for their incredible migration to Mexico while many native birds take to the skies for their own long journeys south. Monarchs, Meadows &amp; Migration celebrates these remarkable travelers and the healthy habitats they depend on along the way.
Guests will have the rare opportunity to participate in real monarch butterfly tagging, helping collect important migration data before these delicate pollinators begin their epic flight to Mexico. Families can also meet the broad-winged bird ambassadors from Christine’s Critters and learn how far these incredible birds travel each year and the challenges they face during migration.
Inside our Discovery Den, Bug’s Eye View invites children and adults alike to step into the perspective of meadow insects through immersive insect costumes and interactive exploration. Discover how monarchs and other insects navigate during one of nature’s most astonishing migrations…a reminder that understanding wildlife sometimes means seeing the world through their eyes.
Throughout the day, families can enjoy meadow net sweeping and insect discovery, pollinator-inspired crafts, bird exploration activities, native pollinator plants for sale, and even launch seed bombs filled with pollinator-friendly plants across the sanctuary meadows. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet adoptable animals from a featured rescue organization.
