I have lived in Fair Oaks for over 25 years, and my husband and I have raised our two sons in this fabulous community.  Now that they are on their own, we have joined several local service clubs, the main one being the Fair Oaks Rotary Club. As one of the members, I have become involved as a Volunteer Coordinator for Northridge Elementary School.  The need for help at this school is very great, and I hope to increase the number of fellow Fair Oakians that come and tutor math or read with the students.  Over 60% of the students at this school qualify for Federally funded meals, and they really benefit from extra adult attention.    Do YOU have an hour or so to spare once a week, or even once a month!   I promise you'll get more out of working with these students than you give!!
