The American Legion is a non profit Veterans organization. It was founded by Congress in 1919. Patchogue Post 269 was founded on August 15, 1919. The mission of the American Legion is to support our fellow Service Members and Veterans, provide mentoring and help to youth programs, and assist our local community.
