The Forum at Hope Haven

Next Level Hope is our first annual culinary competition, inspired by the hit show Next Level Chef.&nbsp; On Friday, May 15, some of Charlotte’s favorite chefs and social media creators will gather at The Forum at Hope Haven for an evening of friendly competition to help create change. Three chef teams will create bites reminiscent of a “homemade meal,” bringing to life the comfort, stability, and sense of belonging that Hope Haven works to provide our residents. A panel of celebrity judges and guests will sample the dishes and vote to crown the winning team, while attendees will also enjoy bites and mocktails crafted by other culinary professionals from across the city. Participating chefs include: Shaun King, Executive Chef of uchi Charlotte Chayil Johnson, Executive Chef of Community Matters CafeVince Giancarlo, Culinary Director of B-Side Hospitality Group (VINYL, Mi Cariño) Nekenya St.Clair (@kenskitchennn)Private chef Shea Williamson&nbsp;Kenneth Williams of Kenneth Williams Catering In addition to the chefs, we’re welcoming Tom Haberstroh as host and the following panel of judges:&nbsp;Laura Barrero from Axios CharlotteClayton Sealey of CLT DevelopmentRick Thurmond, Chief Marketing Officer for Charlotte Center City PartnersShindy Chen, writer for Eater and CLTFive As Hope Haven approaches its 50th anniversary in June, Next Level Hope offers the community a meaningful way to engage with our mission and expand our impact.
