I am a newlywed living and working in Annapolis. My husband is my best friend and I am so lucky to have him. We spend our free time exploring the rich culture of the Chesapeake region together. My secret dream is to write another great American novel (and discover the secret to the Treaty of Paris's awesome popovers). Food and writing are my passions, so naturally I love writing about food! At home, I can often be found experimenting in the kitchen, though I do not have any professional training - yet. When I'm not cooking, I enjoy cultural events, visiting breweries, inspiring music, and the arts. On my blog, Groceries at Midnight, I write about discovering local cuisine and trying to make delicious food on a tight budget. I believe creativity is a spice that can be added liberally to any dish, including life.
