I am a Southern Belle from Virginia, implanted in Southern California courtesy of my Marine spouse. I am mother to three boys, an adjunct professor for the University of Phoenix in Human Services. I enjoy cross-stitching, dancing, writing, reading, traveling, and watching television in my spare time (whatever that is!).

I am a licensed social worker (VA) and I presently work as a senior consultant (Campaign Director) for ACT Today! For Military Families (Autism Care and Treatment). I have created treatment plans for various mental health issues, Autism included. Moreover, I have educated individuals and paraprofessionals on best-practice methods when working with the Autism population. As an Autism Mom and mental health professional, I bring an added layer of experience and passion to my advocacy. My goals are to spread awareness and education, while inspiring action on different levels to many. While here in California, I am diligently working to obtain national licensure to open a private practice that will allow me to provide ABA and psychotherapy services to families in need, particularly those in remote areas surrounding CA, i.e. AZ, NV, to alleviate the burdens faced when raising a child with special needs.
