SUMMIT, NJ – November 6, 2026 – Get ready for a night of laughter, music, and a whole lot of heart! Pebble Players Youth Theater is excited to open its production of the hit Broadway musical THE PROM on Friday, November 13, 2026, at The Oakes Center in Summit, New Jersey.
Performances will run for two weekends:
Performance Dates:

Friday, November 13 – 7:30 PM

Saturday, November 14 – 7:30 PM

Sunday, November 15 – 2:00 PM

Friday, November 20 – 7:30 PM

Saturday, November 21 – 7:30 PM

Sunday, November 22 – 2:00 PM

Based on the hit Broadway musical, THE PROM is a hilarious, heartwarming story about acceptance, inclusion, and the power of being true to yourself. When a high school student in a small Indiana town is told she cannot bring her girlfriend to the prom, four down-on-their-luck Broadway performers arrive to help. Hoping to revive their own careers by making a difference, they quickly discover that this small-town controversy is much bigger than they imagined. Through show-stopping musical numbers, laugh-out-loud moments, and unexpected friendships, everyone learns that sometimes the biggest thing you can do is stand up for what is right.
Filled with catchy songs, outrageous Broadway personalities, and an uplifting message, THE PROM reminds us that everyone deserves to feel accepted, celebrated, and included.
Pebble Players, the youth division of Stony Hill Players, provides High School performers with opportunities to develop their talents in acting, singing, and dance while building confidence, teamwork, and a love of live theater.
