A non-partisan, immersive, family-friendly open-air festival designed to spark the kind of contagious energy that sends people running to the polls on the first day of early voting — blending large-scale visual installations, music, and civic education into something vivid, magnetic, and alive.
Visitors can add their voice to the WHY WE VOTE wall, move through bold photo and art installations, and step into a crowd generating real momentum around showing up.
Throughout the afternoon, speakers and community groups connect that energy to clear, practical action: voter education, registration, status checks, and building a personal voting plan.
This event is brought to you by a partnership of pro-democracy groups including Queens Says No Kings, Hands Off NYC, the Women’s Action Group of Forest Hills, Let’s Talk Democracy, and the VoteDEIS Campus Coalition.

As part of the America250 celebration, the renowned Paragon Ragtime Orchestra directed by Rick Benjamin will perform music accompanied by footage and images from the historic world’s fairs. This is a family-friendly event and audience participation is encouraged!Now celebrating its 40th season, THE PARAGON RAGTIME ORCHESTRA is the world’s only year-round, professional ensemble specializing in the authentic recreation of “America’s Original Music” – the sounds of early theater, “silent” cinema, and vintage dance. Founded in 2000, Musica Reginae Productions (MRP) brings innovative programming and world-renowned artists to concert spaces in Queens, the most ethnically diverse county in the world.
