Jon Cobert&nbsp;is a successful composer and producer, but his skills as a musician launched his career—recording and performing with John Lennon, Tom Chapin, Loudon Wainwright III, John Denver, Laura Branigan, Henry Gross, Phyllis Hyman, and many other outstanding artists. If you’ve heard John Lennon’s recording of Stand By Me or ESPN's Baseball Tonight Theme—or &nbsp;hundreds of other well-known recordings, TV ads and radio jingles—then you know Jon’s work as musician, composer and producer. &nbsp;
Jon is best known as a pianist, but he also plays organ, synthesizer, accordion, guitar, bass, and drums, sings lead and backup, and has a state-of-the-art studio where he’s earned five Grammy nominations. &nbsp;&nbsp;
When he’s not in the studio or on tour you can often find Jon doing what he loves, playing keyboards and singing in clubs around the New York area. &nbsp;Whether he’s working with world-famous artists, recording a jingle that will be heard by millions on TV, or rocking live in a friendly club—Jon makes music!&nbsp;
Frank Shiner’s own story as a performer (and in recent years as a recording artist) is atypical: after nearly two decades away from working as an entertainer – “I paid my dues, I fulfilled responsibility as a father, husband, a friend, as a business person and put everything on back burner” – Frank returned to singing following his wife Suzanne’s battle with cancer in 2009. &nbsp;A year later, she encouraged him to sing one night at a local open mic night and the audience reaction – along with that of the bandleader who followed Frank out to the parking lot to almost beg him to become a vocalist with his orchestra – led Shiner back to performing on a regular basis.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, growing up in Mountain Top (and from the age of ten, working side-by-side with his late father Francis in the family-owned bakery), Frank’s love for music and theatre first found expression when he was cast in the role of Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, “I finally felt at home when I stood on that stage and heard the audience reaction and felt that energy, I said, ‘ok this is what I want to do.’” In college, Frank briefly began studying law before switching to acting, training in classics by Shakespeare and Moliere and moving to New York, where he would go on to appear in over sixty theatre and television productions and meet “the love of my life” Suzanne, who he married within two years after arriving in New York.<a href="https://eventvesta.com/events/159923/t/tickets" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">View Tickets</a> &amp; More Info

Stan Ipcus is a hip-hop artist from White Plains (currently residing in Bedford Hills) who has represented the 914 in his music for well over two decades. With street-wise, clever lyrics, in-the-pocket flows, and production inspired by the boom bap, sample-heavy classics he was raised on in the ‘90s, Stan has managed to age gracefully as an MC and earn his respect across the underground hip-hop community in New York and beyond.
His music can be heard regularly on popular Hot 97 and Shade 45 rap radio shows, and he’s performed at legendary venues in New York ranging from Madison Square Garden to Webster Hall to the Capitol Theatre here in Westchester County. Ipcus is also featured on Matisyahu’s GRAMMY-nominated album Youth, and he’s the author of the critically-acclaimed book Do Remember! The Golden Era of NYC Hip-Hop Mixtapes.
Stan's had three projects celebrated on Bandcamp's monthly Best Hip-Hop list, including his 2024 LP Sleep If You Want which is out now on all streaming platforms and available on Tape Kingz vinyl.&nbsp;
On July 30th, Stan Ipcus will be performing an intimate set at Jazz On Main with a host of friends and frequent collaborators including beatboxer Max Bent, DJ Marcus Pinn, and singer/songwriter Matty B.&nbsp;
About Max Bent:
Max Bent is a beatboxer and producer who facilitates collective creativity through live community events. He also instructs beatboxing at the Peabody Conservatory, and has performed with Stan Ipcus since their college days in the late '90s at the University of Maryland.
About Marcus Pinn:
Marcus Pinn is a DJ, producer, and film aficionado with hip-hop roots and strong ties to the underground. His beat project Night Music is available now via Three Dollar Pistol Music, and he’s contributed to recent projects by Zilla Rocca, Spanish Ran, and Stan Ipcus.
About Matty B:
Matt Barrett aka Matty B is a singer/songwriter based in Seacliff, New York who performs guitar-driven, bluesy rock ballads that draw inspiration from The Black Crowes, Grateful Dead, and Otis Redding. Bassist - Phil Bowler attended the University of Hartford, where he received a bachelor's degree in music in 1972. He played with Roland Kirkfrom 1976–78, then with Hugh Masekela (1980), Joe Lee Wilson (1981). He went on to play with jazz greats such as : Wynton Marsalis , Big Nick Nicholas, Slide Hampton, Jon Faddis, and Ralph Peterson, Jr. He played in a quintet with Donald Harrison and Terence Blanchard And began touring in Europe with the amazing Benny Golson. He worked with Jackie McLean locally and with The Newman Taylor Baker duo in 1997, and in 1998 he worked with the Count Basie Orchestra.
Bowler hosted Jazz Adventures on WPKN radio in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and performed with Artt Frank and Mike Armando from 1999–2009. In 2002 Bowler hosted the MJA Jazz &amp; Blues Festival at Lake Grove, Long Island, New York.
Pianist - Tomoko Ohno, born in Tokyo, began piano studies at the age of 4. As a teenager, she began playing professionally in the Tokyo area jazz scene.
After graduating from Rikkyo University in Law and Politics, Miss Ohno moved to the United States and entered the Jazz Studies Program at William Paterson University in New Jersey, where she studied with Harold Mabern and Rufus Reid. During this time she had the opportunity to perform with such artists as Jerome Richardson, Wynton Marsalis, Benny Golson and Joe Henderson. A recipient of the Student Award of Outstanding Performance and a member of Dean’s List, Miss Ohno graduated with a B.A. in Jazz Studies.
She has performed at Lincoln Center, Weill Recital, Carnegie Hall, The Blue Note, Birdland, in addition to appearing on live radio broadcasts by WBGO and WNYC, and ABC TV's Good Morning America. Pianist and composer Jake Hart will be performing his latest solo piano composition by memory. The piece is a continuation of a project titled Collage. It utilizes creative borrowing from a multitude of different composers and gives the listener the feeling that the music is completely improvised.
Jake Hart is a pianist and composer signed with Sunnyside Records, which released his debut album, Collage, on May 3rd, 2024. The album received praise in the Los Angeles Jazz Scene where the reviewer Scott Yanow wrote how “the two Parts sound spontaneous and bridge the gap between modern classical music and jazz.” In addition, Jake has also participated in a multitude of international competitions and has performed at notable venues including Birdland Jazz Club, Mezzrow and the Umbria Jazz Festival.

<h3>About the Work</h3>
Analogue Sites is a series of steel sculptures by Spanish-American artist and preservationist Jorge Otero-Pailos, created in 2019 from fencing salvaged during the preservation of the U.S. Embassy in Oslo, designed by Finnish-American modernist master Eero Saarinen. Otero-Pailos transformed this material as a way of preserving its layered history and drawing attention to the U.S. Embassy Program—an unprecedented Cold War–era initiative by the State Department that made modernist architecture and the arts central to American diplomacy abroad. These sculptures raise awareness of these embassies at a time when they are being decommissioned and left with little to no preservation protection.
At the Jay Heritage Center, two works are placed symmetrically in the restored garden parterres, framing the central path. Their mirrored placement reflects themes of balance and reciprocity central to diplomacy and honors John Jay’s historic missions to Spain, France, and England, and his role as a founding figure in American diplomacy.
Sculptures from this series have been exhibited in New York on Park Avenue; in London at Regent’s Park and at Winfield House, the residence of the U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom; and in Washington, D.C., at the National Museum of American Design.

Otero-Pailos is an internationally recognized New York–based artist, architect, and preservationist known for his monumental casts of historical buildings. He has exhibited at prestigious venues such as the Venice Art Biennale and the British Parliament, and his works are held in major museum collections. Otero-Pailos also teaches and directs the Historic Preservation program at Columbia University GSAPP.

The Jay Heritage Center in Rye, New York will celebrate America at 250 with a toast to Jay Medal honorees Pulitzer Prize-winning author Annette Gordon-Reed, the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University and award-winning Lincoln historian Harold Holzer.
The Jay Medal for Service was created in 2012 to recognize individuals who demonstrate a selfless spirit of commitment to and engagement with their community mirroring the multifaceted contributions of John Jay and his descendants. These honorees have demonstrated through their life's work that our shared narratives as a country, complicated as they are, can be better illuminated through the highest caliber of ongoing scholarship and advocacy. Honorees are selected for their excellence in the fields of American history, environmental stewardship, social justice or civic engagement.
Joining the celebration will be Chief Judge of the State of New York and the New York Court of Appeals, Honorable Rowan D. Wilson and historian and philanthropist Elihu Rose who will present the awards at JHC's annual Soirée. Special guests will include David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman, and Beverly Gage.

The Jay Medal Soirée will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Jay Estate from 5:30-9:30pm. Cocktails, dinner, award ceremony and dancing. Cocktail Attire.
