Bring a friend and take part in Island Rec Center's 5th Beer Mile! The beer mile is the ultimate feat of athleticism and drinking prowess. Each competitor drinks four cups of beer and runs four laps. Start with drinking a beer, then run a quarter mile, then beer, then quarter mile, then beer, then quarter mile, then beer, then quarter lap - finish. Each competitor must have a designated driver to participate. Slider Showdown is part of a much larger weekend as Hilton Head Jeep Island returns October 9–10, 2026, presented by Renewal by Andersen.
 Jeep Island brings Jeep owners, enthusiasts, local residents, and visitors together for a weekend celebrating Jeep culture, great food, live entertainment, and the Hilton Head Island community.
 Jeep Admission: $50/2 people over age 10 - includes all three events of Jeep Island and parking in Slider Showdown
 General Admission for Slider Showdown: $10, and children ages 10 and younger are free.
 JEEP ISLAND DETAILS
 The weekend begins Friday evening with an Oktoberfest-themed Meet &amp; Greet before moving to Lowcountry Celebration Park Saturday for Jeep Island and Slider Showdown. Following the main event, the celebration continues with the official Jeep Island Afterparty at The Bank. Best of all, proceeds from Jeep Island benefit the Island Recreation Association’s Children’s Scholarship Fund, helping provide local children with access to recreation programs, sports, camps, and activities.

Get ready to cheese the day at the ooey-gooey, golden-delicious Mac and Cheese Festival! Join us on Saturday, October 24th from 5-8pm at Lincoln and South Brewery for a night filled with mouthwatering mac, cold brews, 50/50 Raffle, and college football on the jumbotron! Parking is limited, please carpool if you can! All mac-ed out? Lincoln and South will be selling additional food items. Cashless event!
ADMISSION $15 per person (limited about of tickets) Kids under 10 get in free! (Select the free kid ticket option online) Lincoln and South will be closed to the public during the event
 MAC TASTING Sample the cheesiest creations from up to 20 local vendors, each serving their unique spin on mac in a 3 oz cup. $10 for 5 tastings – That’s just $2 a scoop of heaven! Vendors will be serving from 10x10 tents (no power, all flavor)

 VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE Stop by the Island Rec Center Tent to cast your vote on-site. The top three mac masters will walk away with bragging rights and shiny trophies! Beverages will be available for purchase, along with live music throughout the evening. Friday night admission is $60, with a limited number of VIP tables available for groups of 10. We will sell out, so buy tickets now! The celebration continues Saturday, November 7 from 11am-5pm at Lowcountry Celebration Park. Saturday’s festival features local oysters and seafood, live entertainment, artisan vendors, food and beverages, and activities for the kids. Admission is $10 at the gate, with free admission for children under 11 and veterans, active military, police and firefighters with ID. After Saturday’s festivities, keep the celebration going at the official Oyster Festival Afterparty at The Bank, located just a short walk from Lowcountry Celebration Park. The Hilton Head Oyster Festival is a rain-or-shine, cashless event, with credit cards accepted for food, beverages and activities. Come hungry, bring the family and enjoy a weekend celebrating great food, live music and one of the Lowcountry’s most beloved traditions.

This festive run is perfect for families, friends, and runners of all levels. Come dressed in your best turkey attire and enjoy a scenic course, great company, and a little pre-feast fitness. The race begins in the Boathouse parking lot, winds into Hilton Head Plantation and turns around to finish at the start. Make it a tradition, bring your gratitude and your running shoes, and join us for a morning of fun before the feast!
