Visit Wayne Art Center through October 3 to explore the work of nearly 80 of WAC's renown teachers and workshop instructors as featured in WAC's annual Faculty Exhibition. This exciting new show includes paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media works, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry and stained glass in the art center's Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Gallery. This exhibition can also be viewed online at wayneart.org.

Join us Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 3–11 PM for Mike D’s 14-year celebration and farewell, live music, friends and community as we welcome a new chapter: 660 LIVE, coming soon. No admission charge—all are welcome!
SATURDAY’S LINEUP • 3 PM: Brian Saunders Duo for CTO — outdoors; jazz, blues, pop and more. • 4–6 PM: Steve Rogers — inside. • 5:30–8:30 PM: Infrared Roses — upstairs; a Grateful Dead experience. • 6–8 PM: Devlin — outdoors; Berwyn’s own rockin’ country music. • 9 PM–close: DJ Mike Xtacy — inside.
Stop in after the shows at School of Rock! Grab dinner, drinks or dessert around Berwyn, then keep the music going at Midtown. Support our neighbors including La Cabra, Casey’s, Fellini’s, Nectar, Nirvana Indian Bistro, Handel’s and all your local favorites.
Outside food is welcome for the outdoor bands only. Tables and chairs are provided outside. Enjoy Midtown’s food and drinks inside.

Join Rock Voices, the community choir that ONLY sings rock music!

Explore how junior boarding helps middle school students build confidence, independence, and readiness for high school.
Discover the benefits of boarding school during the middle school years. Join representatives from 11 junior boarding schools and local educational consultants for an informative panel discussion designed to answer families’ common questions:
<ul><li>What is junior boarding school?</li><li>How can boarding during the middle school years support a student’s academic growth, independence, confidence, sense of belonging, and preparation for high school?</li><li>What is daily life like, and how do schools help students adjust to living away from home?</li><li>How can families determine whether junior boarding is the right fit for their student?</li></ul>
The program will explore academics, residential life, extracurricular opportunities, student support, the admissions process, and preparation for secondary school. Following the discussion, families will have time to meet representatives from participating schools, ask individual questions, and learn more about each school’s distinctive community and programs.
Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with the program beginning at 6:15 p.m. Families are welcome to arrive later and join us as their schedules allow.
Advance registration is encouraged; walk-ins are also warmly welcomed.

Alderfer Auction is expanding its local presence with the opening of a new satellite sales office in Wayne, PA, starting Wednesday, October 7th.
Located at 303 West Lancaster Ave, Suite 2C (above The UPS Store), the office will be open weekly on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Appointments are preferred, though walk-ins are welcome with a limit of two items. For larger collections, please arrange a dedicated in-home consultation. To schedule an appointment, email preview@alderferauction.com or call 215-393-3000.
The Wayne office will be led by Allyson Babcock, an accredited member of the Appraisers Association of America with over 15 years of experience in the auction and appraising industry. A resident of the Main Line community with a background rooted in her family's decades-long antique business and a degree from Brown University, Allyson specializes in American Furniture, Fine Art, and decorative arts, providing USPAP-compliant appraisals for estate tax, insurance, and equitable distribution.
The new location invites the local community to bring in a wide variety of items for evaluation and consignment, including:
