<h4>Calling all Lakeville Volunteers - Together We Pack!</h4>
<h3>"Mission Nutrition 2026"</h3>
Saturday November 14th, 2026 | Lakeville Heritage Center | Lakeville, MN
The Lakeville Lions and Lakeville Rotary are teaming up once again for a powerful community meal packing event – Mission Nutrition 2026! This year, we are inviting YOU, our Lakeville area community members, to roll up your sleeves and be part of the impact! Together, with your help, our goal is to pack 14,250 meals which equate to 85,500 servings for our local area food shelves just in time for the holiday season. To make this happen we are asking for 200 community volunteers to come together as a team and make this event a success for our community members in need of food assistance. Please register for either the morning or afternoon shift. Each shift is 3 hours in duration.
Saturday Morning Shift: 7:30am Arrival - 10:30am end of shift
Saturday Afternoon Shift: 11:30am Arrival - 2:30pm end of shift
*Lions and Rotarians should use club provided Signup Genius to participate with event, signup here only after Signup Genius Event is full. This meal packing event is being funded the <a href="https://www.lakevillerotary.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Lakeville Rotary</a>, and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/mn.lakeville.lions/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">The Lakeville Lions</a> under the guidance and leadership of the <a href="https://https/outreachprogrambla.org/our-food/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">The Outreach Program of BLA </a>.
These great tasting meals are made from raw ingredients and developed by Iowa State University to be both simple and nutritious. With only boiling water needed, each meal is nutrient-dense, packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals, making them both simple to prepare and life-sustaining. After the event, these meals will be distributed to our local area food shelves to support families that are in need. Interested in volunteering?
