Bankwell to Host Community Shred Day in New Canaan 
As part their commitment to prevent identity theft, Bankwell invites the community to a free Shred Day on Saturday, September 26th
from 9am – noon at their 156 Cherry Street branch in New Canaan.
Bankwell is simultaneously hosting one at 2704 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden.
All are welcome to shred up to three boxes of documents safely and securely. The Bankwell team will be on hand to help.

Time: 4 pm to 8 pmThe Glass House welcomes architect Elizabeth Diller for an evening of design, conversation, and dining. In conversation with Spencer Bailey, Diller will trace the arc of her practice—from civic landmarks that reshaped New York, including the High Line and The Shed, to the more recent V&amp;A East Storehouse in London, the MIT Metropolitan Warehouse in Cambridge, MA, and Al-Mujadilah Center &amp; Mosque for Women in Doha. Join us for a special evening with Guiding Eyes graduate and author Deni Elliott. The event will begin with welcoming remarks from Guiding Eyes President &amp; CEO Christopher Perry, followed by Deni's presentation about her life with guide dogs and her journey as an author. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive Q&amp;A panel, experience a live guide dog demonstration, and meet Deni during a book signing following the program.
Guiding Eyes guide dogs and puppies in our Puppy Raising program that are appropriate for public access are welcome to attend, as are other ADA-recognized service dogs trained for public access.

<h3>Overview</h3>
Immerse yourself in William Shakespeare’s timeless tales on a scenic stroll through Bristow Bird Sanctuary. Professional actors and musicians bring to life beloved scenes and songs inspired by Shakespeare’s greatest works. Visitors may encounter the romance of Romeo &amp; Juliet, the whimsy of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the magic of The Tempest, and the dark intrigue of Macbeth—complete with witches and sword fights—along with sonnets, madrigals, and more. Join us on a journey through nature and story.
Performance Details: This is an outdoor promenade-style experience where audience members are led down a walking path and encounter various Shakespearean vignettes. The total distance is less than a mile on a smooth gravel path with light gradation. The full experience is ADA accessible.
Groups of 15–20 will depart every 15 minutes from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM for a 45-50 minute traveling experience. Tickets Limited!
All ages welcome.
