Anthony Scalfaro, Neighbor

If we have not already met, my name is Anthony Scalfaro and I am asking for your support to represent you in the Pennsylvania General Assembly for Legislative District 153, Abington Township and parts of Upper Dublin.

I was born and raised and I am a lifelong resident of Abington Township. From growing up in Saint David’s Parish in Willow Grove, to my studies at Penn State Abington Campus, and currently residing in the Jenkintown section of Abington, I have been here my whole life and I have the pulse of our community. My wife, Bonnie grew up in our community as well in Rockledge, PA.

My wife and I are both self-employed and we know how important it is to ensure good jobs and a strong economy in our community. I own and operate a local retirement and estate planning practice, working with hundreds of families and small businesses to ensure they have all the tools to provide a safe retirement for them.

I have a great love and understanding of our community and my roots are deep in the tradition of my family. I grew up similar to you — in a family with strong family bonds, a solid work ethic, reverence for our faith and differing faiths of our neighbors, and the spirit of community that binds us all. However, I believe our core American values are not being persevered.

I believe in people before politics. Our government has turned into politicians and forgot they were elected, by us, to be public servants. This has left us with unchecked tax hikes across the board, schools on the wrong trajectory, and no accountability for any of these actions. I have witnessed our community’s transition and it disturbs me! Our elected officials need accountability and things have gone unchecked in Harrisburg for too long — that is why I AM running for State Representative.
