Foster for Jester&nbsp;
Jester is a sweet, 2-year-old dog who as been sitting in the shelter since July 30, 2025. He desperately needs surgery for a knee displacement, but the shelter cannot perform the procedure until an approved foster is secured. A loud, stressful shelter kennel is simply not a viable place for a dog to properly heal from orthopedic surgery.
The shelter is ready to proceed with his surgery immediately, and ALL medical expenses, food, and supplies for Jester will be completely covered by the shelter. We just need an approved foster located within driving distance of Wantagh, NY, to give him a quiet place to heal.
About Jester:
• Age: 2 years old
• Temperament: A gentle, sweet boy who just needs a little time to warm up to new people.
