About Copper Hill

Copper Hill Independent Living and Learning Center was founded in the 1970’s by parents of adults with mental health conditions, who were struggling to find a facility that catered to their needs while still allowing their children to live independently. Copper Hill’s core belief is that people with mental illness all deserve a safe place to live where they can grow and thrive. The home is run exclusively by volunteer staff and governed by a board of directors that ensure each resident receives the support they need, with the aim of preparing them to eventually transition from the home to living independently on their own.
