Arnold Peter Weiss is a prominent hand surgeon, currently serving as the Chief of the Division of Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital. He served as past Editor of the Journal of Hand Surgery and has published over 178 peer-reviewed publications, given over 360 national and international presentations and authored 7 books. Dr. Arnold Peter Weiss holds current NIH RO-1 grant studying Thumb arthritis and holds multiple US patents for clinically available orthopedic implants. He founded or served on the Board of Directors for 6 medical device companies, three acquired by strategic and 2 national non-profits. He is currently an Examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
