Please join me as I share the story behind Denim Wars, a novel of fiction based on a true story—my story—and the fiercely competitive world of Seventh Avenue that I was fortunate enough to experience firsthand.
Set against the backdrop of the late 1970s and early 1980s, Denim Wars takes readers inside one of fashion’s fiercest battles, when three powerhouse brands collided in a high-stakes fight for power, success, and the right to define what “cool” meant to the world.
Showroom rivalries, glossy ad campaigns, young models on the edge of fame, and unforgettable nights at Studio 54 blurred together in a culture where style was currency, ambition was relentless, and risk was the only rule.
I would love to share with you the stories and inspiration behind Denim Wars and talk about what was a very special and exciting time in New York City and the fashion industry.
