Members and non-members can donate school supplies in club for the Local Boys &amp; Girls Clubs

WHAT: &nbsp;It may be summertime, but a new school year is just around the corner! Select area <a href="https://www.planetfitness.com/promos/bostonspecialoffers" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Planet Fitness locations</a> are aiming to help local children in need thrive during the school year by hosting a school supply drive.&nbsp;

Starting July 13, participating Boston-area Planet Fitness locations will collect NEW school supplies supporting local Boys &amp; Girls Club members. Some suggested items needed include: Backpacks, #2 Pencils, Pencil Cases, Glue Sticks, Pocket Folders, Lined Notebooks, Markers, Crayons, Erasers, Blue Pens, Rulers and Sharpies. Members and non-members can drop new supplies at the donation bins at the front of the participating clubs through July 24, 2026.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Planet Fitness is proud to partner with <a href="https://www.bgca.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of America</a> as part of the brand’s national philanthropic initiative, Judgement Free Generation®, which aims to advance youth wellbeing and empower the next generation to create kinder communities. Since 2016, together with its franchisees, members and partners, Planet Fitness has contributed more than $12 million to support pro-kindness initiatives at Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of America.

July 23, 2026:&nbsp; Christmas in July with “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”
6:30 P.M. - Pre-Party Begins&nbsp;
A live DJ will set the tone for the evening as guests relax on the green and soak in the summer vibes.&nbsp;
Complimentary concessions will be available while supplies last, including Mochiko Christmas Mochi Cakes and Broken Records pretzels and popcorn.&nbsp;
Guests of all ages can take part in a variety of festive experiences, including photo opportunities with the Grinch, who will be making a special appearance throughout the evening. In the spirit of the Grinch's heart growing 3 sizes, the American Heart Association will host CPR demonstrations and offer exciting giveaways.&nbsp;
Attendees will also have the chance to enter the Rockland Trust Raffle for the opportunity to win a $150 prize, along with a $150 donation to the charity of the winner's choice.&nbsp;
Surfside joins the celebration as an event sponsor, featuring a branded activation with product samples and giveaways for attendees 21 and older.
A full-service cash and credit bar, provided by Rail Stop, will be available throughout the evening, along with Broken Records' full takeout menu for guests looking to enjoy dinner during the event. Adapted from the novel that inspired the 1941 John Huston noir film, The Maltese Falcon features San Francisco private eye Sam Spade in his debut appearance. When trouble arrives at Spade's doorstep in the form of the desperately tragic Miss Wonderly, it drags him into a web of intrigue, deceit, betrayal, and murder as several eccentric criminals seek to obtain the titular falcon.
PMRP veterans Tori Queeno and Jonathan Mendoza return to direct their original audio adaptation of Dashiell Hammett's 1930 hardboiled detective novel. Starring Pieter Wallace as Sam Spade and Emma Rottersman as Wonderly, and featuring Foley coordination by Jaimie Carlson.
