Beth Stoddard is a Milwaukee based oil painter whose carefully observed still lifes and plein air landscapes subtly balance suggestion and description. Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, she studied in Philadelphia, obtaining a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania and a four-year Certificate in Painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Her work is held in private collections nationwide.
