Earned Ph.D., from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1991. Retired Assistant Professor from Middle Tennessee State University in 2001. Moved to Wilmot, NH in 2006. From 2009 to 2011 worked on perfecting "Device For Steering A Toboggan." Received US Patent No. 8,770,596 B2 July 8, 2014. Sleboggan became the trade name of invention and a new revolution in sledding/tobogganing was started, and this new winter activity is called Slebogganing. Bill started Mr. Sleboggan, Inc. in August 2011 and over the past five years a number of Sleboggan models have been produced and this coming winter testing will be done on a Slebogganer's toboggan, designed especially for this new winter activity.
