Billie McGregor, Neighbor

Kismet brought me from the deep south to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1968. By early 1970s I was living in Salem in the Derby/Beckett Street neighborhood. In the years since my initial serendipitous encounter with the City of Peace I have become well aware of the reasons I return and remain here. Not only the love of my family and friends, but clearly there is a thread of gossamer that binds me to Salem and her historical past.
