Rather than starting with the traditional facts about me, let me tell you a story.

Benjamin Franklin was determined to be the perfect citizen.  Therefore, he kept track of a list of virtues (kindness, respect, responsibility, leadership, benevolence, etc.).  He made every effort to practice as many virtues as he could all in one day.  At the end of the day, he would check off all the virtues he had practiced.  He was never able to check all of them off.  The closest he ever got to being a perfect citizen by his own set standards, he checked off every virtue except one--humbleness.

Indeed, many virtues conflict with eachother.  If I could pick three virtues that describe me, they would be hard-working, respectful, and humble. 

When I interview people for a story here in Galloway, I want them all to realize this about myself.  I strive to make reports accurate and clear.  My goal is to bring out the positive aspects of the people I interview, and how it makes Galloway a better place.

When I go to a townhall meeting or event, I intend to provide an informative and balanced report.
