Blessings.  My name is Bob Cederstrom (Pastor Bob) and I have been serving as the pastor of Christ Lutheran Church in New Hyde Park since December 2009.  I was born and raised in Brooklyn, and moved to Babylon 6 years ago with my wife Martha and our three sons, Robert Jr., John and Christian.   I attended the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and hold a Masters' of Divinity degree from New York Theological Seminary.  I performed pastoral internships at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Babylon and Christ Lutheran Church in East Northport and a chaplaincy at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.  In addition, I hold a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education from Brooklyn College, an Associates Degree in the Arts from Staten Island Community College and supplemental course work at Cornell University.  I am a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School.  Before answering God's Call to ministry of Word and Sacrament, I taught Middle School in Brooklyn and was an adjunct professor at Kingsborough College in Brooklyn for 25 years.  I served in the United States Navy and am a Vietnam Veteran.  In addition to serving the people of Christ Lutheran, I also serve as the youth and family pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in East Northport, and supervise the Merrick Woods Country Day School summer day camp program in Merrick.  When I am not working I enjoy sports as a participant, coach and a fan.
