I am an experienced freelancer across a range of media, including digital, print, radio, and media education platforms. I can and do write about all topics and issues, ranging from news reports, film reviews, and analysis to fashion, green issues, and the yoga business. My career has taken me from ABC News to Oxford University and back to New Jersey as an instructor of English Composition. As a side-hustle, teaching is a very demanding gig, but I do believe in the old adage, that ’you never really learn something until you can teach it. Although this has sometimes, drawn me away from the craft of writing itself, I believe that a free press and a good education make the world a better place.

My BA in Speech Communications and Journalism was earned at Boston College. My credits included two internships at Boston Arts Group Theatre and Boston YWCA, as Communications/Publicity Director. Whilst still, a graduate student at University College London, I was also employed as a part-time assistant to the Director of Publications, Oxford University, writing copy for the newsletters, fundraising campaigns, and promotional materials. As a college professor, I organized three successful end-of-year shows which included student films, installations, and magazines.
