Peer Support is a program run by Calabasas High School students to offer support and guidance to their fellow peers. Peer Support offers support for students by providing peer (student) counseling, presentations, community outreach, school wide campaigns, peaceful conflict resolution, and assisting with the freshmen transition (from 8th to 9th grade). It is organized by a group of upperclassmen who undergo extensive training that consists of leadership skills, team building activities, communication skills, and a variety of topics affecting teenagers. We are here to help make Calabasas High School a better school, by assisting with 8th graders coming into the school and helping our freshmen adjust to high school life and make new friends. The purpose of peer support is to help others at the school feel comfortable, safe, and listen to any of our peers issues or problems and try to help them find a logical solution.

Peer Support is available at lunch in H117 everyday. Come to relax, talk to a peer counselor, or make friends. Everyone welcome! You can always go to your counselor and request to speak with a peer counselor or go to H106 at any time and ask to speak with a peer counselor.
