Carl Mugavero, Neighbor

Carl, the 30+ year owner of A Salon and Spa, is a certified Master Colorist with Matrix International who is known for his application of both modern and classical techniques to the arts of coloring and styling.  He specializes in the Balayage technique, reds as well as color correction.  He has garnered significant respect in the salon community while studying at Vidal Sassoon, Clairol, Matrix, The Chadwicks, Paul Mitchell and Michael O’Rourke, to name a few, as well as with celebrity stylists Daniel Roldan and Brian and Sandra Smith.  His passion for being at the forefront of the latest trends and techniques is emphasized with his staff through their perpetual education and individual expertise.  A Salon and Spa also prides itself in being an active presence in the community through various scholastic fundraisers and Locks of Love.
