Parkway Bank Park Entertainment District

Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park Entertainment District (5501 Park Place, Rosemont) will set the stage for another summer of live music with the return of its “Rockin’ in the Park” free summer concert series. The 2026 series will kick off on Sunday, May 24 followed by a post-show fireworks display. Free concerts will continue every Thursday and select Friday evenings from May 28 through September 3, featuring live music from top tribute bands alongside food and beverage tents on the park’s great lawn. All Thursday night concerts will culminate with a musical fireworks display. This year’s lineup features a mix of returning favorites and exciting new acts celebrating iconic artists including Rod Stewart, George Michael, the Bee Gees, Journey, Elton John and more.&nbsp; 

“Rockin’ in the Park” concerts will run from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Admission to “Rockin’ in the Park” is free. Outside food and coolers are prohibited. Parking is available at the Parkway Bank Park parking garage and is free with validation from any of the park’s venues.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Following the success of the Going Bacharach: The Songs Of An Icon Chicago debut, the musical revue has been extended to run through June 21 at the Apollo Theater. Rediscover the soundtrack of a lifetime with GOING BACHARACH, a vibrant new revue, direct from a sold-out run in New York, celebrating the legacy of one of America’s most iconic composers. Three powerhouse vocalists backed by a five-piece band take audiences on a melodic journey through the timeless songs spanning Bacharach’s extraordinary career. The Saturday Man: At the Edge of the Game presents 53 photographs depicting the world’s most popular sport through the eyes of the acclaimed photographer Peter Robinson. Robinson has spent over six decades documenting everything from the intensely local British football of the 1960s, to the unconventional (and now defunct) North American Soccer League, and the evolution into today’s game of billionaires and superstars. His time as the official photographer for FIFA and contributions to publications, such as Onze and Sports Illustrated, cemented his reputation as one of the leading photographers of his generation. However, what defines Robinson as an artist is his distinctive skill in storytelling, utilizing football to explore the human condition. 

His lens has stayed focused not only on the field, but also the communities at its edges. This singular perspective is why Pablo Maurer of The Athletic deemed Robinson, “Arguably the world’s greatest living soccer photographer.”

In celebration of Rosemont’s 70th anniversary and America’s 250th anniversary, Parkway Bank Park will debut its first-ever “Rockin’ in the USA” three-day Fourth of July weekend music festival. Guests can enjoy three nights of live music from acclaimed tribute bands including Listen to the Music, Boy Band Night, Super Diamond, Garth Guy, Toby Keith Made in America and Hillbilly Rockstarz. The celebration will also feature festive on-site activities and competitions, including fireworks, a patriotic costume contest and a special appearance by the Rosemont Public Safety Department Honor Guard on Saturday, July 4 at 3:15 p.m. During the festival, Parkway Bank Park will also give away free “Rockin’ in the USA” 2026 commemorative t-shirts onsite while supplies last.
