<h4>Elijah reaches the end of his strength, collapsing under exhaustion and despair. God&nbsp;doesn’t&nbsp;shame him for burning out but offers food, rest, and presence. We learn that restoration begins not with more effort, but with God’s care for our bodies and souls.&nbsp;&nbsp;</h4>Community members are invited to participate in person or online. Worship is open to all, including those who are active in church, returning after time away, supporting someone they love, or simply looking for a compassionate place to reflect on faith and mental health.

May 17, 2026- Depression &amp; Anxiety, “When Prayers Feel Like Tears” Guest speaker: Jules O’Neil, Clinical Director at Tri Cities Family Services Hannah’s story shows us that depression and anxiety are not signs of weak faith—they are honest expressions of a troubled soul. Her prayers remind us that God receives our tears and holds our hope, offering peace even before the answers come. 

Community members are invited to participate in person or online. Worship is open to all, including those who are active in church, returning after time away, supporting someone they love, or simply looking for a compassionate place to reflect on faith and mental health.

Naming suicide in scripture allows us to speak tenderly of this reality in our own lives. We proclaim a God whose mercy is wider than our worst despair and a community called to walk with one another in hope.Community members are invited to participate in person or online. Worship is open to all, including those who are active in church, returning after time away, supporting someone they love, or simply looking for a compassionate place to reflect on faith and mental health.

You’re Invited to the 70th Memorial Pancake Breakfast at United Methodist Church of Geneva! The Event will take place Rain or Shine. We will be serving pancakes, sausage, coffee, orange juice and milk. Come feast with your friends and neighbors!&nbsp;
It will take place in the parking lot of United Methodist Church of Geneva and we will be serving breakfast from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM on May 25. In the event of inclement weather we will serve breakfast in our Fellowship Hall.&nbsp;

Job’s life is shattered by unimaginable loss. Instead of hiding his grief, Job tears his robe, falls to the ground, and speaks his anguish aloud. His story reminds us that God gives us permission to grieve fully, and that raw honesty can become holy ground.
