One ticket gives you access to three sites: the William Paca House and Garden, Hogshead&nbsp;Trades&nbsp;Museum,&nbsp;and the Museum of Historic Annapolis.&nbsp; William Paca House and Garden:

Visitors can enjoy&nbsp;30-minute guided tours of the William Paca House,&nbsp;featuring the Annapolis Living Historians.&nbsp;Hear what William Paca and his contemporaries might have thought about the bold decision to declare independence.The festivities continue in the Paca Garden&nbsp;with face painting,&nbsp;refreshments&nbsp;and patriotic crafts for all ages.&nbsp;Cool off in our&nbsp;Colonial Beer&nbsp;Garden&nbsp;and enjoy live music from Peter Brice and the New Century&nbsp;Irish-Arts Company.&nbsp; 
Get hands-on at the&nbsp;Revolutionary Trades Showcase, where we highlight the everyday skills that helped fuel independence. Try printing pamphlets that spread revolutionary ideas, learn about healing herbs, sew stars, and practice writing colonial-style letters.&nbsp;Have your silhouette created in the Summer House for a unique keepsake! 
Special Feature:&nbsp;Meet Frederick Douglass&nbsp;and hear an excerpt from his speech,&nbsp;“For What to a Slave is the Fourth of July”. &nbsp;Nathan Richardson, renowned Frederick Douglass&nbsp;reenactor&nbsp;will give&nbsp;a&nbsp;FREE presentation at 1:00 pm&nbsp;on the&nbsp;Front Steps of the Paca House.Museum of Historic Annapolis:

Step into our American Story at the Museum of Historic Annapolis. Enjoy an inspiring film and explore three floors of interactive exhibits where&nbsp;you’ll&nbsp;discover diverse stories and amazing objects that represent over 400 years of our shared history!&nbsp;&nbsp;Meet Frederick Douglass&nbsp;and hear an excerpt from his speech,&nbsp;“For What to a Slave is the Fourth of July”. &nbsp;Nathan Richardson, renowned Frederick Douglass&nbsp;reenactor,&nbsp;will speak&nbsp;to&nbsp;Frederick Douglass’s life, share his beliefs,&nbsp;and&nbsp;recall&nbsp;his travels and his books.

Celebrate America 250 with the lively sounds of the Revolutionary era! Stop by Hogshead Trades Museum and enjoy traditional fiddle music and discover how music was used during the American Revolution for entertainment, marching, and morale. Dance and sing along to “Yankee Doodle” as you learn the surprising origins of this beloved patriotic tune. This talk explores the story of Colonel Tench Tilghman—George Washington’s most trusted aide-de-camp—and his complicated ties to a family torn between loyalty to the Crown and the cause of independence. Discover how General George&nbsp;Washington himself&nbsp;navigated relationships with the&nbsp;Tilghmans—father, uncle, and brothers—on both sides of the war, and what their story reveals about unity, conflict, and the personal costs of nation-building.

Meet Camp Followers from the Revolutionary War! Visit Hogshead Trades Museum and learn from living history interpreters about the vital roles women played during the fight for independence: cooks, laundresses, nurses, and more. Discover how their labor and resourcefulness helped sustain the army and shape the course of the war. 
This is a drop-in style program. Visitors may join at any time during program hours and explore at their own pace through informal interaction and demonstrations.&nbsp;Advance registration recommended, but not required.

Celebrate America's 250th birthday with a vibrant weekend of waterfront activities including a Veterans' Maker's Market, live music from the School of Rock, and boating fun on the Potomac. While there are no fireworks, families can enjoy shopping at Tanger National Harbor, a outdoor screening of Back to the Future, and a Super Hero Summer experience at Gaylord National Resort.

West Street

Starting at 6:30 p.m., the City of Annapolis will host its annual parade on July 4, 2026, in the downtown area. The parade will kick off on West Street, before making its way from Park Place to Church Circle.
"Marching bands, community groups, and vintage vehicles take over downtown," reads an announcement from the city.
The parade will be followed by a performance at 7:45 p.m. by the Naval Academy band.
