West Falmouth Library

The International Book Group at West Falmouth Library is a volunteer-led group that meets on the first Wednesday of each month 3:45-5 p.m. Selections have either foreign settings or foreign authors, usually both. International Book Group – The Stationery Shop by Marjan Kamali

Next meeting is Thursday, September 3 at 6 p.m. Time may adjust slightly with the seasons and setting sun. This club will meet until winter when southern migration starts in earnest.
We’ll meet and mingle in the community room, share sightings, photos, successful locations and tips followed by a group migration to the garden for a group sit and observation.
Bringing along a portable chair is encouraged (available outdoor seating is limited) and your favorite binoculars. Since we will be meeting inside first, you’re welcome to leave your chair on the back patio while we gather inside.

She has practiced secular spiritual guidance for many years and has shared her talents to help many.&nbsp; She is also a Chaplain at Falmouth Hospital as well as a counselor for Kairos Counseling. Saramaria lives here in Falmouth with her family.

Hiroya Tsukamoto is a Japanese-born fingerstyle guitarist who moved to the United States in 2000 to attend the Berklee College of Music. Needless to say, he’s not only a dizzyingly agile fingerpicker, but a soulful and transcendent performer, with compositions that combine instrumental guitar work with lyrical performance and spoken stories from his life.
Tsukamoto has been recognized for his talents on stages such as at Blue Note in New York City, Japanese National Television (NHK), International Storytelling Center and United Nations, and by scoring second place at the International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship both in 2018 and 2022.

You'll find unique creations including furniture, mirrors, resin work, jewelry, apparel and accessories, home goods, decorative wood and fine crafted wood products, glass art, custom bird houses, ceramics, lavender products,&nbsp;original art and beautiful photography, prints, cards, and more.
