Carrie Worthington, Neighbor

The past president of NAMI Will-Grundy, Carrie joined the NAMI Illinois Board in 2019 and was elected President in 2022. She has also served as Interim Executive Director of NAMI Illinois and most recently, as Interim Executive Director of NAMI Sumner and Wilson Counties in Tennessee. Carrie also served NAMI Illinois as Vice President and Chair of the Organizational Development Committee. She is a published author and nationally recognized expert on grief and recovery, drawing on strengths built from her own life journey. In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Carrie is a certified Mindset Transformation Specialist, assisting both businesses and individuals in achieving clarity, growth, and lasting change. Professionally, she is an experienced call center manager with expertise in hiring and training, quality assurance, operations, coaching, and continuous system improvement.
