Financially strapped Francis Henshall has taken on the job of servant to Roscoe Crabbe, a small-time East London hood who is trying to collect money from his fiancee's father. However, 'Roscoe' is really his twin sister 'Rachel'...who has been posing as her own dead brother...who was killed by her own boyfriend, Stanley Stubbers...for whom Francis also works as his servant.Still with us? The hilarity never stops in this award-winning slapstick farce throughout its knockabout quest to answer these simple questions: How can any man (especially Francis!) serve two masters without one finding out about the other? Can he pursue and win the girl he fancies? And, somehow, can he get a decent meal in the process? Performances: November 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 & 21 at 8:00 pm and November 8 & 15 at 2:00 pm. Tickets $24 with reserved seating

I’m Awet Teame, your Precinct 4 Town Meeting Member, comedian, actress, writer, content creator, and voiceover artist. I’m also a former co-host on 1410 AM, The Bass of Boston. I’m competing for $25,000 and a podcast produced by iHeartRadio—and I’d love my Brookline community’s support!
Eritrean roots. Boston-raised. Emerson graduate. Big podcast dreams!
My journey has taken me from stand-up stages in LA to Boston, with appearances in Showtime’s Dexter: New Blood, Syfy Channel’s Total Blackout, and Ghostbusters (2016)—the deleted scenes! 😂 My voiceover work includes Lyft ads in Massachusetts.
This competition also supports a mission close to my heart: the Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s work bringing interactive media studios into children’s hospitals. Funds raised through the competition help support the foundation and its work giving children opportunities to create, connect, and find joy during their hospital stays.
I know how much a creative outlet can mean to a child. When my family moved to the United States, I spoke only Italian and Tigrinya. Adjusting to a new country and language was stressful. Children may adapt quickly, but that doesn’t mean the process is easy.
Performing in Alice in Wonderland and West Side Story in fourth and fifth grade gave me somewhere to channel that anxiety. Acting helped me express myself and build confidence. During that time, my grades went from C’s and B’s to straight A’s!
That experience is why I love what the foundation is doing. Children facing illness deserve opportunities to use their imaginations, express themselves, and have moments when their illness isn’t the center of their world. I believe deeply in what creativity can offer them.

In this session, L. Callid Keefe-Perry (director of vocational discernment and ministerial readiness at Brite Divinity School) dismantles that myth and explores "dynamic equilibrium," learning how the shifting moral and spiritual landscape of ministry requires constant, responsive adaptation rather than rigid boundaries. Come explore the idea of a "Moral Orienting System" to map ministers’ current realities, identifying which practices and commitments need adjusting to stay faithful, grounded, and renewed in their vocations.

The Rashi School

Middle school can bring enormous change for our daughters and for us as parents. Puberty, shifting hormones, big emotions, changing friendships, growing independence, and an increasingly complicated social world can leave even the most grounded parent wondering: Is this normal? What does she need from me? How do I stay connected while also giving her room to grow?Join Brooke Reilly OTR/L, CLC, PMH-C, and Dawn Ellis, LICSW for a warm, honest, and practical conversation about supporting girls from the middle school years. We'll talk about what's happening physically, emotionally, and socially during puberty, while also making space for something parents of adolescents often need but don't always have, an opportunity to talk openly with other parents about what they're experiencing.
