Oak Park River Forest Museum

Oak Park River Forest Museum and the Oak Park Vintage Car Club will host the fifth annual Vintage Car Show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, on the streets surrounding the museum. School of Rock will perform and vendors will offer food for purchase on site. Admission to the car show and the museum, during the show hours, is free. It's also free to show your car in this show. Arrive by 9:30 a.m.

oin us in Scoville Park on Wednesday, July 8, when we will host a public reading of the Declaration of Independence at 5 p.m. Communities in U.S. States and territories will be simultaneously reading the Declaration, marking the anniversary of when it was first publicly read in 1776.&nbsp;
Many community groups and organizations will be represented, each taking turns reading a part of the Declaration aloud. We will start to gather beginning at 4:30 p.m., and the reading will begin promptly at 5 p.m.
Also in celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary, stop by OPRF Museum and pick up your free Illinois Passport, a guide to historical sites throughout the state.&nbsp;
