Join us Saturday morning for a WW workshop at the Little Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Company, 4348 NJ-27 in Princeton. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM, and the workshop runs from 8:30 to 9:00 AM.
This week, we’re talking about gratitude — not as pretending everything is perfect, but as a way to shift perspective during challenges and notice the progress, strengths, and support that are still there.
We’ll explore simple ways to pause during a setback, notice what’s going well, and use that perspective to keep moving forward.
If you’ve been curious about WW, your first workshop is free, with no pressure to join on the spot. A native of Camden, New Jersey, Eric Lewis began studying piano at the remarkable age of two. His extraordinary musical abilities eventually earned him the prestigious Rodgers and Hammerstein full-merit scholarship to the Manhattan School of Music, setting the stage for a remarkable career that has taken him far beyond the traditional boundaries of jazz.
Over the years, ELEW has developed his own distinctive musical language, incorporating innovative techniques such as Counterbop and Rockjazz. His performances combine the improvisational freedom of jazz with the intensity and driving energy of rock music, creating a sound that is uniquely his own.
But ELEW is far more than an extraordinary pianist—he is a dynamic and theatrical performer who transforms the piano into an entire musical universe. Phillips' Mill presents a special evening with celebrated arts journalist, author, and quilt expert Meg Cox, a former culture reporter for 17 years at The Wall Street Journal. In her visually rich presentation, Meg will cover the history of art quilts and the people and institutions that collect them. She will share tips from prominent collectors and examples of works by pioneering art quilters and current rising stars. These are not your traditional bed quilts!&nbsp;
Meg serves on the Exhibitions Committee of the International Quilt Museum, is a past president of the nonprofit Quilt Alliance,&nbsp;is a staff writer for Quiltfolk
magazine and author of multiple books including The Quilter’s Catalog: A Comprehensive Resource Guide. She writes the wildly popular monthly newsletter, Quilt Journalist Tells All.
