one-of-a-kind works of art! Instructor Julia Swyers will demonstrate the
 fundamentals of wood burning—including tools, techniques, design 
transfer, and lettering—and guide you in using your own designs to 
transform a natural wood cutting board and wooden cooking utensil! No 
experience is required, and all materials will be provided.

 Jlayer, you will create your own elegant floral arrangement to take 
home.

 Manny the mammoth, Sid the loquacious sloth, and Diego the 
saber-toothed tiger on a comical quest to reunite a human baby with his 
father in a world on the brink of an ice age!
After the screening,
 the adventure comes to life with a special interactive program with The
 Bruce Museum. Discover the real animals that inspired the movie, 
examine fossils, and become a Junior Paleontologist for the day!
Light refreshments will be served.

AI: Amazing Opportunities, Hidden Dangers, and What Comes Next

This traditional blueprint process is easily accessible for anyone. 
No artistic skills are necessary to create one-of-a-kind botanical 
prints. This workshop class will cover the photosensitive chemistry, how
 to coat your own paper, and how to expose and develop the prints. You 
will leave with your own handmade prints and the skills to make more.
<h3>About the Instructor</h3>
Julia Swyers&nbsp;first
 learned the cyanotype process while studying photography at the School 
of Visual Arts. She started making botanical cyanotypes at home as an 
activity to do with her young daughter using commercially available 
coated paper. In her own art practice, she began coating her own paper 
and experimenting with homemade cameras using the cyanotype printing 
process. She has taught all types of learners, from elementary children 
in schools to adults in workshops.

Make special challahs each month with Debra Cohen, director of Jewish
 and Adult Programs. Participants will make dough from scratch, learn to
 shape and braid their loaves, and leave with ready-to-bake challahs. 
All ingredients are kosher and nut free, but contain gluten and egg.
Attend a few sessions or all!
Admission: $45 per session
