Chris Ourand, Neighbor

I escaped from Washington, D.C. many years ago because I was tired of traffic and ill-timed traffic lights, small living spaces, not saying hello to passing strangers because there was too many of them, smog on summer days and a host of other reasons.  

Severna Park has been home for 10 years where I now live off of busy Route 2 in a house where the lot is less than a quarter of an acre, in a community governed by a homeowner's association, and where the county regularly advises us to not swim in certain rivers and creeks because of sewage leaks or other pollution.  But I am certain I've come up in the world.
