Meet Chrissy Kruger-Gruendyke:  wife, mother, photographer and proud Shorewood resident and business owner.  

In addition to enjoying life in Shorewood, Chrissy owns Chrissy Rose Photography and offers a full range of portrait photography services to capture those special moments in life.  She specializes in photographing children, families, maternity, engagement and weddings.  Her style is described in many different ways (lifestyle, photojournalistic, vibrant, intimate...), but the word most used is beautiful. 

Chrissy moved to Shorewood in 2009 after completing the interior renovation of her arts and crafts style, nearly 90-year-old, bungalow.  She offers a fresh and enthusiastic perspective on the community as a blog-contributor for Shorewood Patch.  Her blog is a photo-essay about the things, people and places that make Shorewood great. 

Chrissy is married to Bob Gruendyke -- a strong supporter of her photography obsession in addition to his own career, but who hates having his own picture taken.  Their 3-year-old daughter however is somewhat of pro in front of the camera already, (after all, a camera has been in her face since birth), but has yet to master picture taking from behind the camera... “all in due time”, says her mom ;).
