(mostly) TRUE THINGS is a game wrapped in a storytelling show. A fantastic line-up of storytellers - some experienced comics and performer, some taking the stage for the first time - share a true story. But some stories include subtle little lies. In Act 2, the audience gets to question the storytellers - who can improvise their responses - then votes for the person they think told their story with no lies. Some improvised, story-inspired music and songs written for the show by host/creator Jude Treder-Wolff are additional ingredients for a high-energy, often hilarious, emotion-packed and entertaining show. There are prizes involved, if you can believe a thing like that (you totally can!) The theme for the stories in this show is IT'S COMPLICATED! Messy, interesting life experiences shared by:Shoshana Rubin, an Emmy-winning television producer and artistCalvin Cato, a comic who performs in clubs and venues all over the country, has been featured on RISK! Offerings about American History feature prominent writers and educators. Free horticulture and birding workshops teach guests about native plants and wildlife. Family-friendly concerts draw hundreds for old-fashioned fun and unplugged enjoyment. The site is a member of NY State's Path Through History and Westchester County's African American Heritage Trail.
