Christopher Schwartz, Neighbor

Chris; a native of Dubuque first came to the Cedar Valley to attended school at the University of Northern Iowa where he studied music education and political science. He finally settled on a career in political activism and has been the state coordinator for the non-profit group Working Families Win for the last six years. When he is not politicking he can be found making music, cooking, or working in his garden. He is also the coordinator of the Cedar River Community Garden located in at E11th and Sycamore in Downtown Waterloo. 

Chris is a lifelong gardener and is excited to share his ever growing knowledge of gardening acquired through trial and error.
