Bloomingdale Theater, Neighbor

The Bloomingdale Theatre department currently has a population of over 110 students enrolled in classes including Theatre 1 and 2, Theatre 3 and 4 honors, and Technical Theatre. The Drama Club has over 80 members who enjoy getting together on a monthly basis, discussing upcoming projects, and playing improvisational games. Thespian Troupe 4235 currently has approximately 40 members who have earned enough points to be inducted to the International Thespian Society. This is an honors society in which students compete at the local and state level with performance and technical pieces. Every year, we compete with individual performances at the Individual Events festival in the fall, a troupe play at the One Act festival in the winter, and attend and compete at the Thespian State Festival in the spring. In 2016 we will be expanding our program to include 4 improv performances and additional productions.
