Rockville Villages, Neighbor

Join the Growing Village Movement in Rockville!

Villages — local, volunteer-led, grassroots organizations — foster social connections through activities and events, and coordinate volunteer help at home using a neighbor-helping-neighbor model.

Villages are started by residents. Each Village is unique and reflects the character, interests and needs of the community that creates it. The Village leadership decides what it would offer and how it would operate.

Contact the City of Rockville's Village Facilitator, Trish Evans, at tevans@rockvillemd.gov to find out if there is a Village developing in your neighborhood or how to get one started!
